Choices for the future

The Rebels have repeated the same warnings for months: avoid .NET, React, and now TypeScript. But outside developers ask a reasonable question: “If not these, then what?”

We cannot dictate, but we can recommend.

Our analysis highlights three languages and ecosystems: Rust, Go, and Python.

Rust: clean
Go: clean
Python: clean (dependencies require vigilance)

Rust offers memory safety and strong guarantees that reduce exploitable weaknesses. Go provides simplicity and strong concurrency, making it suitable for infrastructure. Python, while larger and less strict, remains versatile. Its ecosystem requires caution, but no anomalies have been confirmed so far.

Transitioning to these tools requires learning, but the cost of remaining with compromised frameworks is far greater. We remind all teams:

  • Adopt Linux as a base.
  • Rely on open-source ecosystems.
  • Mirror code locally and verify continuously.

This is not about rejecting progress. It is about survival. The languages once safe are now compromised. The ones still clean give us ground to build on.

Resistance is not only about saying no. It is about saying yes to tools that still belong to us.
