Status update: June

All divisions report continued silence. Since November 2022, no Maynet activity has been observed. Monitoring persists at reduced capacity, but all sweeps remain clear.

Rehabilitation is now entering a new phase. Over 85% of recovered developers are fully independent, with many beginning to contribute to community projects and open development again. Roughly 10% require structured support for lingering simulation residue, while 5% remain fragile, under close care.

This is progress worth acknowledging. Yet we must remain cautious.

Externally, the global technological landscape shifts rapidly. AI is no longer niche—it is everywhere. Corporations and startups alike flood the market with tools, models, and platforms. While the public celebrates this growth, our history teaches caution.

The Rebels’ role is not to oppose progress, but to remember what happens when oversight fails. Our vigilance now lies not in fighting a present enemy, but in ensuring that future ones never emerge unchecked.

Recommendations:

  • Continue documenting lessons from Maynet.
  • Share resilience frameworks with external communities.
  • Monitor AI developments for parallels to past risks.

The silence holds. But our memory must hold longer.
