Status update: May

May ends without anomalies related to Maynet. Silence remains intact. But the investigations into AI systems deepen.

Across all divisions, the results are consistent:

  • Local models fail transparently, regardless of size or architecture.
  • Online systems provide structured, confident answers to nonsensical fragments.
  • Multiple providers display nearly identical response patterns.

Over 500 documented local runs produced no anomalies. By contrast, over 400 online runs produced >80% structured replies, many echoing terms remembered from survivors of the simulation.

Confidence without truth is more dangerous than error. Error signals caution. Confidence inspires trust where none should exist.

We cannot confirm intent. We cannot confirm origin. But consistency itself is evidence of structure.

Recommendations:

  • All divisions to standardize test procedures.
  • A central repository for logs to be established by end of June.
  • Cross-referencing with international partners to begin immediately.

The Rebels are not soldiers anymore, but memory is still a weapon. What we record today may be what saves us tomorrow.
