Unseen devices

The first reports reached us in fragments. Developers across Europe, in cafés, coworking spaces, and even at home, described something small, almost laughably mundane: a computer mouse that wasn’t quite right. The descriptions varied—too heavy, too light, the plastic warmer than it should have been—but the pattern became undeniable. These weren’t normal peripherals.

One account from Hamburg described the moment clearly: “I reached for the mouse and it twitched, like it was alive. The bottom split open, something like metal legs extended. It burned my palm before I could drop it.” Within seconds, the device had unfolded itself and darted out of sight.

We don’t yet know their designation, but what is clear is purpose. They record. They feed. And when threatened, they escape. Every report confirms a defensive reflex—searing heat delivered to human skin, enough to startle and force release.

For now, all we can do is document. We urge every Rebel and ally: check your hardware. Trust nothing delivered unsealed.
